This journey takes you from Kyoto to Amanohashidate on the 183-series. Starting from Kyoto Station, the "Hashidate No. 1" passes through the scenic Hozukyo Gorge and tranquil countryside along the San'in Main Line, arriving at Fukuchiyama. From there, it continues north on the Miyafuku Line of the Kitakinki Tango Railway, reaching Miyazu Station, where the train changes direction. Finally, it arrives at Amanohashidate Station, offering views of Amanohashidate, one of Japan's Three Scenic Views.
